Dr. Daniela Rojatz holds a master's degree and a doctorate in sociology from University of Vienna, Austria. She looks back at more than ten years of experience in research on health promotion, health literacy, collective patient participation and self-help organizations in health settings. From 2013 to 2016, she worked as a researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Health Promotion Research in the Method Center with a focus on evaluation. She is currently in charge of national efforts to integrate health promotion and health literacy into primary care. Daniela teaches both in applied and academic contexts at different universities in Austria (e.g. MCI Innsbruck, University of Graz) on patient participation and health promotion in primary care. She is a Board Member of the Austrian Society for Public Health (since 2017).
